Carl,
Motor trouble must be catching. We went by the CG Wal-Mart this morning on
the way to church at 7:30 more or less. There were 3 motorhomes in the
lot, in the far southeast corner. I suspect that they were coming to the
Gypsy Journal Rally at the fairgrounds, starting Monday.
Further east, there is another large parking lot of a vacant store (south
side). There were 3 or 4 RVs there also, as far from the street as they
could get. Perhaps the Casa Grande ordinance enforcement division took
Saturday night off.
I'm not complaining.
Gene

Wal*Mart
5950 Rue Martineau,
St-Hyachinte QC
Phone: (800) 328-0402
On the night of Sept 07, 2007, we stayed overnight at this location.
It was very quiet as the Wal Marts in QC closed about 10PM. There were
five more RV's that also stayed overnight. There were no signs posted
on the lot. The WM store is located in a large shopping area,
fuel/gas, restaurants, supplies are available close by.
Directions:
From the Trans Canada Hwy. #20, take EXIT 130 North to Blvd.
Laframboise (Prov #137 & 235), stay in the center lane to the first
set of traffic lights at Rue Martineau. Turn Left onto Rue Martineau Wal
Mart will be on your right. The Wal Mart store is quite visible from
the street. The lot is quite level and its expected that RV's should
park away from the main entrance or close to the lot perimeters .
Note: We didn't ask permission, and didn't observe anyone else ask.
This is true of all of our overnight stays in several Provinces.
In the future I may start asking at the courtesy desk and be able to
post more information, but somehow I doubt if the store managers want to
be called to the front of the store each time an RV'er wants permission
to overnight. (Just my opinion)
Cheers Willis
